African-American Speakers and Experts Needed

Columbus, OH - Finding a Black expert can be difficult, which is part of the reason why you always see the same Black people (Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, T.D. Jakes, etc.) being interviewed on the news and speaking at various conferences.

However, Diversity City Media, an 8-year old multicultural marketing and public relations firm, is seeking to change that. The company recently launched BlackExperts.com - a FREE online directory of African American speakers and experts.

The site allows individuals to profile themselves in front of journalists, radio/TV producers, meeting planners, etc. who may be interested in using them for media interviews or paid speaking engagements.

Dante Lee, CEO of Diversity City Media, comments "There are thousands of African Americans out there with expertise. BlackExperts.com gives them the needed exposure to be considered for media and speaking opportunities."

Lee continues, "BlackExperts.com is not another speakers bureau, it's more like a Yellow Pages full of Black people who know what they're talking about."

The web site, which launched in May 2007, is free to use as a directory, but does charge an annual fee to have a profile listed.

Categories are available for health experts, business experts, relationship experts, financial experts, motivational speakers, doctors, lawyers, and more.
