Movies like this are what tear the black family apart. I see no value in this clip other than to create more unnecessary ignorance and drama, which I call in my book, False Roads To Manhood, anti-relationships. Black Men and Black Women have no reason to live in the anti-relationship mode. We as a people create more drama than anyboby. Yet, if all those women in the room, who are considered angry black women, which the clip portrays, had read one book about manhood, they might not be angry but understanding of the black men. The jungle fever syndrome is sef-infliced hype brothers. I know there are angry black women out there for real, but take it from me, a serious real angry black women must first seek out knowledge of the total black man before she can authentically say she's an angry black women. Is the white women the real issue here? There are tired black men for real, they are tired of responsibility, tired of paying child support, tired of haters who drink hateraid, tired of angry black women who constantly allow the girlfriend syndrome to interfere with their relationships and know some of these women have no knowledge of the man but spue misinformation. I know an angry black women personally. A tired black man really did damage her heart. She could be healed of her pain, but she is so angry at black men, she won't read my book to find rest for her feminine soul. So, like some men in my book, False Roads To Manhood, What Women Need To Know; What Women Need To Understand, this lady continues to walk on a False Road To Womanhood. Pretty sad. If it's really true that there's no good black, maybe it's because, we have a high prison rate. I know this to be true for Savannah GA area. Eighty percent of the prision poplulatlion is african american. If there's anything to be tired and angry about, it should be about the number of young black men and youth going to prision. We ought not let the entertainment industry to continue to write or make movies that do not define us correctly. The angry black woman issue is multi-faceted. The clip does not bring healing to the situation but create fresh wounds. We are not a homongenous people. These are my thoughts from the author in me.

I think it's more than just the squabbling that's tearing the black family apart. We're seeing the same breakdown cutting across racial lines. It is no longer taboo to seek a divorce if a marriage isn't going well. That couple with an ever increasing need to stay ahead of rising taxes and housing costs lead to stress and marriage fractures.

The relationships between women and men are far more adversarial than ever. This cultural cancer is omnipresent in the gloating women's magazines that do everything in their power to subtly denigrate males. Men, being men ,won't complain because we're not raised to vocalize our pain well.

I love our black women but many are falling victim to success and men are falling victim to lack of success in too many places

You ain't lying. That sista was a cutie pie! Whatever drama she was bringing, I could handle!

Seriously though... that clip looks like another example of the type of drama too many people in the Black community latch on to. I know we need to recognize our problems and tackle them head on. But how much drama do we need to see to know that we don't need drama?

More positive images and/or dialogue is needed.
