Los Angeles, CA - The good works of Dr. Frederick K.C. Price will be honored with a week long celebration in Los Angeles from July 23 through July 29, recognizing Dr. Price's more than 50 years of ministry and the 15th year of the founding of the Fellowship of Inner City Word of Faith Ministries (FICWFM). The FaithDome is the largest church sanctuary in the United States. CCC's church membership totals in excess of 21,000 souls. In addition to his work at CCC, people all over the world know of Dr. Price through his "Ever Increasing Faith" TV, radio, tape and book ministries. The Ever Increasing Faith Ministries program reaches more than 15 million households each week and airs in 15 of the 20 largest markets throughout the United States, according to recent Nielson ratings.

Dr. Price is the author of some 50 books on faith, healing, prosperity, and the Holy Spirit. "How Faith Works" is a classic book on the operation of faith and its life-changing principles. He has sold over 2.1 million books since 1976.

The week long celebration for Dr. Price kicks off in Los Angeles on Saturday, July 23, at a special 11 a.m. street renaming ceremony at 79th Street and Vermont Avenue, at the intersection where the Crenshaw Christian Center campus is located. The new name of this intersection will become "Dr. Frederick K.C. Price Square." In attendance that day, among other dignitaries will be City of Los Angeles Inspector of Public Works, John L. Reamer, Jr., who will make remarks and present Dr. Price with a commendation on behalf of the City of Los Angeles Board of Public Works Commissioners as the Street name change is officially recognized by the city.

On Sunday, July 24th Dr. Price will be doubly honored. First he has the honor of having that day declared "Frederick K.C. Price Day" by the County of Los Angeles and then, after a special single Sunday Service at 10:30 a.m., Dr. Price will be honored with enshrinement on the "Promenade of Prominence" in Ted Watkins Park on 103rd & Success in Watts. The CCC family is extending a personal invitation to anyone who has ever attended services at CCC or is a member of the church that hasnt been to service recently to please be present this day to come and be a part of the celebration of the success which they helped to create.

From Monday, July 25 th, thru Friday, July 29th, FICWFM will hold their 15th anniversary celebration and convention in the FaithDome on the campus of the Crenshaw Christian Center, located at 7901 South Vermont Avenue in Los Angeles.

About FICWFM

Since its humble beginnings in August 1990, the Fellowship of Inner-City Word of Faith Ministries (FICWFM) has grown to include over 500 member-pastors and ministers in 38 states and 19 foreign countries, representing a combined congregational membership of over 265,000 Believers.

A non-profit corporation, FICWFM is governed by its bylaws and headed by its twenty-member Board of Directors, of which Dr. Frederick K.C. Price is President. Corporate headquarters are located at Crenshaw Christian Center Church, 7901 South Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles, California.

Although it serves as a spiritual covering for its members, FICWFM is not a denomination. It does not govern any of its member-ministries. Each ministry operates personally, privately and independently of FICWFM, and the member-ministry has no required reporting accountability to this organization. However, as members of the Body of Christ, all should live lives representative of Christ and above reproach. Therefore, FICWFM and its leadership strongly believe, teach and exemplify a high standard of integrity, Godly character and moral excellence, and encourages that standard to be duplicated throughout its membership.
