Artists Announced For the 5th Annual Macy's Music Festival

Entertainment's Finest to Perform in Summer Concert Series

Cincinnati, OH - Musical artists were announced this week at a news conference for the 5th Annual Macy's Music Festival to be held Friday, July 31st and Saturday, August 1st, at the Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati. Both shows will start at 7:30 p.m. The confirmed artists are:

FRIDAY, JULY 31 - 7:30 p.m.

FANTASIA
ERIC BENET
THE WHISPERS
SATURDAY, AUGUST 1 - 7:30 p.m.
ANITA BAKER
ROBIN THICKE
THE O'JAYS
RUBEN STUDDARD
ONE ARTIST TO BE ANNOUNCED

Tickets will go on sale at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2009, at all area Ticketmaster Ticket Centers. Patrons can also buy tickets on line at www.ticketmaster.com or call (513) 562-4949 to charge by phone.

"The Festival is proud to announce that for the fifth consecutive year Macy's will be the Title Sponsor of the 2009 event," said festival organizer, Joe Santangelo. "The close relationship between the Festival and Macy's has grown over the years and we feel very fortunate to be affiliated with a great corporation and brand dedicated to enhancing and preserving the rich tradition of the Festival. Macy's has created a website for all Festival information: www.macysmusicfestival.com.

The Santangelo Group Inc., producer the event, is also pleased to continue its partnership with Ohio Valley Entertainment, a subsidiary of the Cincinnati Bengals. The ongoing involvement of Ohio Valley Entertainment helps insure the success of the Festival, not only for 2009, but also far into the future. Our mutual goal continues to be making the Macy's Music Festival, one of the premier music events in the United States, an internationally recognized world-class event.

Once again the Macy's Music Festival will be part of an exciting "Music Fusion Week&quoit; stretching from July 26 through August 2. The Regional Tourism Network will soon be announcing the complete lineup of exciting musical events during the week.
