(Mybrotha.COM) - I read an article about Chicago Bulls latest draft pick, Jimmy Butler. His is a story of what being strong and persistent can get you. He isn't alone though, there are countless young men and women who have beat the odds, worked extremely hard and achieved their goals.

Jimmy Butler has a dramatic story about his life. He was homeless for a while after being kicked out by his mother when he was 13.

With his father out of the picture since he was a baby, Butler bounced between friends' houses before finally settling in with the family of a friend going into his senior year of high school in Tomball, Texas.

What's Your Story?

We all go through trials in our life, the problem is, we’re suppose to go THROUGH the trial not stay in the trial. Our trials are suppose to turn into triumphs.

If you want the glory you have to live the story. It's gonna take you being strong, persistent and consistent. Everyday you should:

Rise - Wake up everyday with a sense of purpose.

Grind - Go after that purpose with everything you got. Do it daily, do it hard!

Grow - Stop worrying about results, just keep grinding! Your growth is in the grind not the results!

I know you think its hard and it is. Whoever said it was going to be easy...Being hard doesnt mean its impossible, just means you have to commit, persist and be willing to pay the price to get it! Question is... How bad do you want it?
