New York, NY (Blacknews.COM) - In an effort to spotlight women who are at the top of their musical game, the National Association of Black Female Executives in Music and Entertainment. Inc. (NABFEME) launches the ultimate musical playground, www.womenwhojam.com. This website seeks to provide a promotional outlet and gathering place for ground breaking female DJs, musicians, producers, and singers, who are often times overlooked by record labels, radio conglomerates, and the print media.

From legendary acts such as Toni Braxton and Yolanda Adams, to upcoming artists like Latoya London and Vivian Green, to unsigned hometown favorites, Kayte Burgess, Lady Te and Temmora, this site is committed to showcasing musics acclaimed and nameless treasures. Women Who Jam is the vehicle that will drive the music industry back to its roots of originality, imagination, and intelligence. The site presents: The Juke Box, a compilation of familiar and unfamiliar soulful tunes; Your Voice, a section that gives site visitors an opportunity to sound off on featured music, providing valuable critiques to new artists; Hot Flashes, the news authority for women in music; DJ Divas, the hub for female disc jockeys; Showtime, a listing and schedule of upcoming artist performances; The Power List, the network center, where the artist, music enthusiast and entertainment executive connect; Free Music offers a CD compilation of some of the sites featured artists.
